Apartment
1829
Category B Listed
Built on James Peddie's estate Clarence Street is tucked away but still close to the Water of Leith and the bustle of Stockbridge. The property is a perfectly proportioned main door 2 bedroom apartment. The kitchen was relocated into the rear principal room to create a beautiful dining kitchen with marble fireplace. The existing bathroom was split to form an ensuite to the master bedroom and family shower off the hallway. The shower rooms are fitted with classic brassware and high quality marbled porcelain tiles The delicate cornice in the new kitchen had been damaged over the years, it was restored to reveal its original detail. A new astragalled glazed vestibule door replaced the existing non-original one and new oak herringbone parquet was installed throughout.
Beautifully furnished by the client with mid-century furniture and lighting.
